When people sign up for your email list via Civic Shout Lead Ads, you can have their contact info synced to your ActionKit account in real-time.
Here are the basics:
Create a new user in ActionKit that will be used just for your Civic Shout integration
Add the new user's info and your account’s subdomain into Civic Shout
When you create a new Lead Ad or when someone signs an existing one, a mirror Petition Page will be created in ActionKit that its signers will be mapped to as they opt in
Connecting ActionKit takes just a few minutes. Follow this step-by-step video to get up and running.
A few things to be aware of:
Make sure you select "Superuser" under permissions when creating your new user in ActionKit. We won’t be able to connect otherwise
Past leads will NOT be synced. Only new ones that come in after you’ve set up the connection
Petition Pages in ActionKit are created to mirror your ads. They'll use the headlines from your Civic Shout ads and will have (Civic Shout) added to the end. For instance, if your ad's headline is "Tell Congress: Save the Trees" your mirrored page in AK will be "Tell Congress: Save the Trees (Civic Shout)"
All mirrored Petition Pages get the Source value of "civic_shout" added to them
